we've got everything
We've tried everything
half assed it, and as liars, and thats how we've got everything.
If we carried it out to sea, pushed it over the edge, we could have all been through. Well no one even bothered showin' up, but we still did what we should have thought through.
We crashed in like waves into the stars
Didn't want it, didn't need it, but we knew that we could see it, so we opened up the door.
We receded like waves out of the stars

downtown
you know what's great?
getting stuck in public places
it was with these bad asses:
*good expression amara*
okay let me tell the story
we were on campus and we wanted to go to the 'knight library' thinking it was the 'NIGHT library' which obviously made us think it was open all night. anyways, as we were coming in, we noticed a huge amount of people coming out. but we went upstairs anyway. we were going through all the 1230921300 isles. and we were up there for about an hour. when we decided to leave we went down and noticed there was no workers there, and all the students that were there were gone.
and when we walked to the front doors. they were locked.
which was very ironic because just before that, we were saying how crazy it would be if we got locked in.
we ran from door to door trying to find an exit
and it took a while until we could find the emergency exit
but when we got out, we wished we hadn't of left.
i mean, we had the whole building to ourselves.
but it was a pretty great experience.

i was at modest mouse last night
and it definitely falls in as one of the best nights of my life
it was amazing
finally i can say that i've seen both of my all time favorite bands live
i can't even explain how great it was.
